I did the battery instalation in a little other order: 1. Did not disassemble the Display-unit. Fix it it with Tape and small Foamparts in an angle from arround 80 Degree open.
2.... then I disconnected the Battery and put them out the housing... with the Help of heating up the case of the Mobile ...
3. Then I connected the battery and then I secured it with the scotch tape.

Ich habe das Display nicht abgenommen, sondern mit Hilfe von Tesafilm und Styroporstücken in einem Winkel von ca. 80° Winkel fixiert und nicht demontiert! Das ging auch sehr gut und ich musste nicht noch mehr von den empfindlichen Steckern zum Touch und Display trennen!

I did not start to try the rubber seal.... I think without this seal the Mobil will be work for normal use .... it is stable, clipsed and screwed ... it works again ... all what I want! :-)

Indeed - I also had some problems with the righ screw: ...a standoff screw that is screwed into the frame - like above explained...! Suddenly I had three screws in front of me and was a little surprised... Ok You have to mount first this screw again - with a small flat srewdriver - otherwise You could not fix the Metalstripe on both sides, because the second small screw has no grip!

Ich habe den unteren Klebestreifen gar nicht gelöst! --> Monitor (Glasscheibe) nach vorne auf ein dickes Kissen gelegt - so dass das Glas nur ca. 80° Winkel nach vorne zu liegen kommt und dann habe ich die Festplatte getauscht! So konnte ich die untere Klebeleiste wieder verwenden und hatte genügend Platz um die senkrechten und oberen Leisten zu verkleben! ⏎
Tip: Klebestreifen zuerst auf dem Alugehäuse befestigen......

Ich habe gleich den Weg gewählt, den Akku zu erwärmen (mit dem Föhn von unten) und dann denn Akku vorsichtig mit einem Kunststoffspachtel rausgehebelt! (Das riskante entfernen der Stecker für Display und Touch habe ich nicht gemacht...ging auch so gut!)

Beim Akkutausch am iPhone 6 habe ich die riskante Trennung vom Motherboard zum Display nicht durchgeführt... Dafür habe ich gleich die Methode mit dem Erwärmen des Akkus von unten gewählt, um den Kleber zu lösen! ... Ging sehr gut! Die Idee den Vibrator zu lösen um besser den Akku greifen zu können ist gut!!

Hi Thomas, like above written - I used the old Tape and looked that it more or less flat on Glass and the Metal frame then I only soft pressed the glass in the housing and warmed up the “sandwich” again….

But - You are right - only soft and not unevenly…..!

One more hint conerning the tape which fix the Glass in the frame: I used the old tape and looked only that its “nearly undistroyed”.

A few overstreched pieces i cut away. It works fine!! After fixation in the frame of the Pad I heated up the whole Pad with a Hairdryer and pressed together again! Looks good !
