It could be a different iteration, but the iPad mini 3 (model A1600) that I just worked on had a slightly different front facing camera housing (step 30). There also need to be clearer warnings - I destroyed the home button cable despite following all the instructions & reading+planning ahead.

In step 50, it does not mention that the cable actually has 2 sublayers; and "Sliding the pick along the front panel, towards the home button" actually tore the 2 sublayers into half, exposing some copper pins & shearing the cable in the process. I'm not sure how this wasn't picked up earlier.

Also, the instructions in part 34-35 are very poor - a note is provided regarding "Two wide strips of tape connect the LCD to the speakers". For someone disassembling this device for the first time, it would be greatly helpful to indicate What exactly, and where these strips are so that we can watch out for these. Current images are not helpful.
