The Surface Pro 2 was released in October, 2013 and discontinued July, 2014. The Surface Pro 2 doubles as both a laptop and a tablet. The Surface Pro 2 has more SSD memory options than the Surface Pro as the Surface Pro 2 comes in: 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The Surface Pro 2 also boasts fourth generation Intel-Core i5-4200u processor with Intel-HD 4400 Graphics.
In February of 2016, Microsoft had to recall Surface Pro 2 power adapters because they had the potential to catch fire or cause electric shock.
