The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was released in January 2024 alongside the S24 and the S24+. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the largest phone in the S24 series with a 6.8 inch screen, longer battery life, and upgraded cameras, and options for up to 1TB of storage. The S24 Ultra improves on the S23 Ultra with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and one upgraded telephoto camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has four rear cameras with the flash centered between the smaller camera and the laser autofocus bump (this looks like the smaller camera, but is above the flash). Like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but unlike earlier Galaxy S phones, each camera lens has a separate bump, rather than one bump containing all of the cameras.

You can distinguish the S24 Ultra from the other Galaxy S24 phones by its size, 6.4 inches by 3.1 inches, and its right-angle corners. The front glass of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is flat, unlike the front glass of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which has rounded side edges.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with an integrated S Pen, Samsung's stylus.

The S24 Ultra is available in seven colors: Titanium Violet, Titanium Yellow, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Blue, Titanium Green and Titanium Orange.
