I’m Reed, an 18 year old from Columbia, South Carolina. I’ve been taking things apart and putting them back together since age 6, so repair has always been a passion of mine. I can’t stand to see perfectly good things thrown away just because they’re “broken,” which is a big part of the reason I frequent iFixit so much. I’ve built about 8 computers for myself and others now, and have performed several iPhone and iPad repairs. I used to answer lots of questions on the answers forum and write the occasional guide, but now I pretty much stick to contributing by patrolling edits for accuracy and improving flagged guides. I'm attending Clemson University with a major in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, with aspirations to work as a park ranger.
